Copper eyes are the default to the breed, but their eyes could be blue in colour-point pattern cats and perhaps one or equally (blue and copper) in a few pure-white cats. When this happens in pure white, there should be thanks treatment as the cat can be deaf while in the aspect with the blue eye.
